About

Sometimes you just need to wear your truths on your sleeve!

I know that sounds self-serving because this site sells t-shirts; however, that does not disqualify this as a valid, or even noble, statement.

It’s easy to stand for “accepted truth.” However, it takes courage to stand for something unpopular — or even an accepted truth that has fallen out of favor. Courage is especially called for when you are standing against an accepted truth.

Occupying the village square with a megaphone is one way, but not the only (nor always the best) way to stand up for what you believe.

Sometimes, people just need the time and space to come to conclusions on their own. But this does not mean you need to, or should, be silent. It also doesn’t mean you need to take sides. But it does mean that you need to stand .. for something.

So, where does this leave us? In the middle? Not necessarily. How about taking a position above the fray? How about being a voice for reason — not advocating one side or another — but advocating and encouraging reasonable discussion of various viewpoints?

That’s what WearableTruths is all about.

Living and expressing our own truths – through conscientious clothing!
